What's Public Wireless LAN Service?

With Yahoo! BB Public Wireless LAN service, you can access the Internet at over 3,200 locations including 2,600 McDonald's nationwide. Each access point has a BB sticker. Check out your local McDonald's!!

How to Apply

• Go to Add/Remove (Yahoo!BB official homepage)
• Click the button at the bottom of the page
• Enter your Yahoo! Japan ID and password and press the LOG-IN button.
• Enter your NTT phone number. (If you don't have an NTT phone, you probably have to enter your customer ID)
• You can setup your own User ID and password.
  • User ID: 4-15 letters long
  • Password: 4-16 letters long
• Confirm the information you entered and click the right button on the bottom.
• Click the "Apply for optional services"
• Click "APPLY" for Public Wireless LAN service.
• Read the terms and conditions, click "I agree" and then"Apply" button.
• Click "Confirm the application"button.
• Application has been completed. Please write down SSID and WEP KEY.

How to use the service

1. Visit a Public Wireless LAN access point.
2. Start the wireless system of your laptop computer. Use SSID and WEP KEY obtained through the application procedure mentioned above.
3. Click the Internet Explorer icon. The login page automatically appears. Enter your User ID and password.
4. Enjoy the Internet!

Cancellation

• Go to Add/Remove (Yahoo!BB official homepage)
• Click the button at the bottom of the page
• Enter your Yahoo! Japan ID and password and press the LOG-IN button.
• Enter your NTT phone number. (If you don't have an NTT phone, you probably have to enter your customer ID)
• Click Cancellation button on the bottom of the page.
• Click CANCEL for Public Wireless LAN Service.
• Click CONFIRM.
• Cancellation has been completed.
